This is the RDI Arena Lab. Originally this scene was created for the Virtual World / Game called Entropia Universe. Originally I did this scene for a customized version of Cryengine 2.0.
The thing is; in my spare time, I decided to do the Unreal 4 full conversion of this scene.
The Arena Lab was conceptualized by Danny Pérez (Art Director at MindArk)
Here are some tech specs:
-Overall proportions are exagerated to get the Massive Arena Multiplayer Game feel
-Main architecture design based on a beautiful symmetry (used some elements to break it up slightly)
-Mostly used 2k and 4k PBR textures
-Pixel Ratio Density: 2048x2048 pixels equals 6 meters
-Used Static Lighting Pipeline in Unreal 4: Baked Global Illumination into Lightmaps
(unfolded manually 2nd UV channels for everything.)
-Geometry Optimized for realtime game purposes.
All the assets have been created by me including modelling, texturing and lighting except 2 assets that were created by another artists of my team.
