UE5 Graphics Prototype

This is the first prototype of graphics with UE5 that we did at MindArk.
As an Art Lead, I supervised the quality of the 3D assets and lighting along with the Art Director of the studio (Danny Pérez) and the Tech Director (David Simonsson). We were just a team of 5 people working on this prototype.
This was our first chance to work with the almighty Unreal Engine 5 and we had a lot of fun!! We experimentd a lot with rocks, terrain assets and shaders, plus learning a lot about how to use efficiently Nanite + Lumen. We didn't use photoscans at all. Everything is hand crafted. We wanted to stablish an artistic style with personality.

-I did the following assets: terrain ground mesh modelling, all the biome tiling materials and decals, backdrop mountain meshes, gnarly tree mesh and some set-dressing polish. I would like to point out the following credits:

*Danny Pérez: Art Director
*Ferran Adzarà: Lead Artist (Biome Tiling Materials, Terrain Mesh, Backdrop Mountains and Gnarly Tree (small)
*Oskar Reftel: Senior Environment Artist (vegetation assets, set-dressing and level lay out)
*Petter Setterberg: Environment Artist (rock sculpts/meshes and vegetation assets)
*David Simonsson: Tech Director ( shaders and lighting + tech support)
