Assault Rifle that I did for AFTERPULSE (Mobile MP 3rd Person Shooter)
Afterpulse was one of the first games to use PBR technolgy for mobile devices.
Modelled this asset based on a real FAL assault rifle but heavily modified and simplified for obvious copy right and performance reasons.
Textures might look relatively low res but I have to say that they hold up really well. At this time I was not using Substance Painter yet, so everything was texturized using Photoshop/NDO and some parts were baked from a High-Poly model.
I did a lot of normal map work in PS getting really good precission in details such as holes, bolts, cavities and straight lines.
It was really fun to work with this asset.
